Kane Ramsey joined the firm in August 2014. Originally from Grand Island with many family ties to the Kearney area, Kane graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Nebraska College of Law. While in law school, Kane was a research assistant for a University of Nebraska College of Law professor, a law clerk with a firm in Lincoln, Nebraska, and a summer law clerk with a firm in Hastings, Nebraska.
Kane’s primary practice areas include civil litigation, criminal and juvenile litigation, general business and workers’ compensation. The Jacobsen Orr Law Firm represents a broad spectrum of clients throughout the Greater Nebraska area. In addition to Kane’s primary areas of practice, Jacobsen Orr Law Firm provides comprehensive legal services encompassing a broad range of major practice areas, including: Employment, Agriculture, Estate Planning, Water and Natural Resources, and Real Estate. Kane has presented on Landlord-Tenant Law for Sterling Educational Services. He has also presented for the General Practice Section at the 2016 Nebraska State Bar Association on Ethical Issues for closing files.
Kane enjoys spending time with his family and friends. In addition, Kane serves on many local Boards of Directors including; The United Way of the Kearney Area, Leadership Kearney and SERTOMA. He serves as Vice Chair of the General Practice Section of the Nebraska State Bar Association.
