(Kearney, NE, January 2018) -- The Jacobsen Orr Law Firm of Kearney, which has provided comprehensive professional legal services to Greater Nebraska for almost 40 years, is pleased to announce that Ryan C. Carson has become a Shareholder of the firm.

Ryan and his family relocated to Central Nebraska from Denver in 2015, where he practiced for more than 10 years and was a partner with his former firm.  Ryan’s extensive litigation practice has included handling cases in multiple jurisdictions across the country, including Nebraska, where he has been licensed since 2011.  Since joining the firm, Ryan has continued to serve the region in matters involving insurance defense, personal injury, commercial litigation, and employment, as well as expanding his interests in agriculture, business law, and criminal law.

Ryan earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Fullerton in 2000, and his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame in 2003.  He then completed a two year clerkship with the United States Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, based in Denver.  Ryan is a 2017 graduate of the Nebraska Chamber’s Leadership Nebraska program and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Kearney/Buffalo County CASA program and Junior Achievement.

Ryan is licensed in Nebraska, Colorado, and Illinois, and is an active member of the Nebraska State Bar Association.
